Guys and Gals Football

Well, due to these recent events, I am going to steal the date of November 11th and propose the wonderful idea of guys and girls football. Most of you laugh, but it will be fun. So please notify your women, except for those guys who don't have any (don't worry you can still play, except Biff-and you know why you son of a bitch). It will be two hand touch and at 1pm, rain or shine. Ladies, hike it up! I already have confirmation from at least 6 girls who are willing to play. If this goes to the shitter, the guys can just play, no worries. Please don't be jerkoffs, if you don't like the idea, great, don't show up or talk about how you think it is a bad idea because guess what? I don't give a shit! Keep on Truckin'

Hallowgiving POSTPONED

All,

I apologize, but we have to postpone Hallowgiving 2006. My mom is very ill and Amy and I want to be up in Schaumburg as much as possible over the coming weeks / months. Thanks for understanding. I'm not sure when we'll be able to actually hold the festivities, but I say when we do, we still dress in costumes and eat Thanksgiving fare.

Dave and I are in for Hollowgiving/Thanks Giving 2... I'm assuming that there will be a surplus of pies again since that's all you guys can manage to bring. Although it was pretty good times smashing them in Chris' face; so I admit, some extra pies are needed. So, if you're bringing something other than a pie please let me know so I can figure out what to make or fill in any holes so we aren't missing mashed potatoes again. I'll take any requests too ;)

Saturday Football?

We should get it organized for Saturday. It should be around 1 or 2 so people can sleep in eventhough sleep is overrated. It was entertaining in the slop and we could only hope that the ground is going to get more sloppy. I was born a mudder. My father was a mudder. My mother was a mudder. HALLOWGIVING 2006

OK, it's settled. Hallowgiving will officially be celebrated on Saturday, November 11th. What better place to show your love of turkey and costume dress-ups like a party in Pekin, where dressing up in "costumes" was invented... Everyone is more than welcome to come down and hang out on Friday the 10th.

We will be in charge of supplying a bird large enough to feed a "clan" of guests and a keg of delcious "pale" ale. You all are responsible for the rest... Please post what you will be bringing, and if you are a pussy and want a punch in the face...post a reason why you won't be able to attend, and wait for YOURS!!! Girlfriends are not only invited, but encouraged. Just a reminder, as Wyz can attest, we have a hot tub and the experience is probably even better with someone else in it.... Also, costumes are a requirement to get into the house, drink our beer and eat our bird (all the "white" meat you can handle).

Anybody up for a hawks game this weekend? Deni wants you to go!!!! A few of us are going to see the hawks play the blues on Sat night. I think the game is at 7:30. If you want to go let me know.

Once....how about twice..IN A ROW!!!

Yes, yes, it happened!! WE PLAYED FOOTBALL!!! And it was a great turn out. So thank you to all of you that made it. We are going to play again this following weekend of 10/22. Game time is at 12:30pm. So please show up around noon. I will be there by 1:15 at the latest. Don't be gay, I don't need to be there for you guys to play! So everyone count on playing football for a second week in a row. Everyone from this past weekend confirmed they'd show, plus we may have some additions (Please still spread the word to those that don't visit the site). ON another note....would you guys be interested if I organized a guys and girls touch or flag football game??? Would be kind of fun. Just a thought. Mark your calendars for SUNDAY!!!!!!! GO BEARS!!

Random thoughts

What up all? Even though Iowa lost the game to Ohio State, this was a picture from Gameday that is classic. Also, I just got back from an interview in Downers Grove and drove past my old job at 2nd swing out there and it is going out of business. The store has a sale of 40% off everything so if you were looking for some type of golf equipment, they have great deals on like ping, callaway, titleist sets of irons from 150-250 and drivers under 100. Just some info i wanted to pass along.

SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY

OK....IT IS GOING TO HAPPEN! Sunday, October 15th (this sunday), we shall play the fooseball!!! If you are in and ready to crack the rust off, be there at 11:30AM so we can at least start by 12:30PM!!! I expect enough guys due to growing anticipation for the season opener. I do not want to hear "Are we going to have enough guys?" The answer is shut the fuck up and let me worry about it. Just show up and get ready to play some FOOTBALL finally!!!!! ....and Keep on Truckin'

Is it ever going to happen?

Are we ever going to play football? The answer right now is NO. I am getting sick of playing Madden. If we are ever going to get a game in the earliest would be on the 15th of October because the Bears have a Monday night game at Arizona. The following weekend the Bears have a bye week. So make up your minds who want to play. I know I can get some guys to play but I am not organizing this. We should voice our opinions about the best possible date. That is all for me on this subjuct for now.

3 Club Challenge

There is a 3 club challenge this Saturday at Fox Run. Last day to sign up is today so give them a call if you are interested. You play 18 holes, games like closest to pin and stuff like that, dinner, draft beer but no cart for $39. You play with 2 clubs of your choice and a putter only. It seems like it should be fun. starts at 12 noon 10/7. Just lettin you guys know. Peace out.
